Solidarity is a form of unity that binds people together as one. Each and every one of us has the power to make a change in the world and if we work together, this change can be infinitely bigger and better.  In this Hackathon event, we attempt to bring together students from different countries and cultures to work together and create products of social engagement to make an impact and leave a positive mark on our society.

The participants who choose to take part in this event will get a unique experience working in a competitive environment with foreign students from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel and Skema Business School in France. Alongside the tight schedules and strict deadlines, the students will have to overcome language barriers and cultural differences. They’ll have to join forces and create, together, feasible plans to be implemented in large organizations to exercise Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

A good plan is one that has a great positive social impact, is based on thorough research analysis, is applicable to many different organizations and is innovative. Therefore, these will be the judging criteria for the hackathon, alongside presentational skills.
Regardless of the outcomes of the hackathon, just by taking part in this exceptional activity – you’re already a victor. But the true winners of the event are every single one of us, who stand to gain from the successful implementation of the proposed plans.
