The joint academic course, titled  International Seminar on Technological Entrepreneurship, is a collaboration between Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and Monash University in Australia. The course provides four students from Australia and four students from Israel a hands-on experience building a start-up from the ground up with an international team for five months. The course begins with a week-long stay in Australia and concludes with a week-long stay in Israel during which the participants present their pitch ideas, meet leading entrepreneurial figures and travel across Israel,

The seminar, Entrepreneurship and Innovation in a Growing Economy: Brazil is part of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation track courses within the MBA program of the Department of Business Administration, Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

In light of the dynamic changes in global markets, the objective of the seminar is to expose students to the potential activities taking place in growing markets in general and in one of the four BRIC countries in particular. Participants will analyze existing models and measures, and experience advanced business activities in these markets. This seminar is conducted partly in Israel and partly in Ceara, Brazil, in cooperation with the University of Fortaleza and with the Association of Industrialists in Ceara.
